Delete your Together data

This page explains how to delete your account and data in Together, the days-together counter by kalaganov.dev.

Together has no sign-up. Your "account" is an anonymous Firebase account, created when you first open the app, plus the pair data it stores. See the privacy policy for the full list.

In the app

1. Open Together and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete pair and all data.
3. Confirm Delete everything?, then type the confirmation word shown (DELETE, or its translation in your language).

What happens next depends on who else is in your pair:

• Only your phone is in the pair. The pair and everything in it are deleted from the server: names, birthdays, the "where we met" city, dates, the photo, the list of phones, your purchase record and the invite code. The app also clears its settings on your phone, cancels its notifications and deletes your anonymous account.
• Your partner's phone is still in the pair. Your phone leaves the pair. Its entry, purchase record and anonymous ID are removed, and your name is blanked unless another phone holds it. Your partner keeps the pair and the shared data. They can delete it the same way from their phone.

Deleting only part of your data:

• Leave pair removes your phone from the pair without deleting the pair.
• Remove device removes any phone from the pair, together with that phone's purchase record.

Without the app

Email support@kalaganov.dev from any address, with the subject Delete my Together data, and include your Support ID. You can copy it in the app: Settings → Support ID (the row just below About; tap it to copy). It is shown while your phone is in a pair. We delete the pair and everything in it within 30 days and confirm by reply.

If you no longer have the app and didn't save your Support ID, we can't find your data. It is stored under an anonymous ID that isn't linked to your name, email or phone.

What we keep

• The pair's Pro flag. If you leave a pair after paying for Pro, the pair keeps only a "Pro unlocked" mark so your partner keeps Pro. No purchase token and no ID of yours stay with it. It is deleted with the pair.
• Your purchase with the store. Google Play or the App Store keeps it under their own terms.
• Nothing else. Your data is kept until you delete it, in the app or by email. The database has no backups, and deleted data is gone within about an hour.
