Resonia privacy policy

Resonia: Frequencies & Sounds plays tones, noise colours and soundscapes for Android and iPhone. It is built to keep everything on your device.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. Every sound is made or stored on the phone: nothing streams and nothing downloads. The Android store build does not request the internet permission and makes no network requests of its own.
What stays on your phone
Your settings (colour theme, light or dark background, the mood you last picked, the morning time for the sleep timer), the mixes you save and whether Pro is unlocked are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them. On Android the app opts out of cloud backup.
On Android 12 and later, a direct phone-to-phone transfer during setup of a new phone may still copy this data to your new phone. That transfer runs between your own devices; the developer is not involved.
Playback controls
While a sound plays, the app shows a media notification with play and pause, in the notification shade and on the lock screen. It is a local notification drawn by your phone, and nothing in it leaves the device. On Android 13 and later the app asks for the notification permission right before the first play. You can refuse it: the sound still plays, only without those controls outside the app.
Writing to us
"Write to us" in Settings opens your own mail app with a new email to support@kalaganov.dev and the app's name and version as the subject. The address is also copied to your clipboard. Nothing is sent until you send the email yourself.
Permissions
The Android release build requests:
- Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS), for the playback controls described above. - Foreground service and wake lock (
FOREGROUND_SERVICE,FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK,WAKE_LOCK), so the sound keeps playing with the screen locked. - View network connections (
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE), which comes from Google Play's billing library. The app does not use it to go online. - Google Play billing, for the Pro purchase.
Purchases
The one-time Pro unlock is sold through Google Play on Android and through the App Store on iPhone. Google or Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy. The app only learns whether the purchase exists, and keeps that answer on the device so Pro works offline. Restoring a purchase also goes through the store. The developer never sees your payment details.
On iPhone
The app on iPhone keeps the same promise: no account, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no data leaves your device. The only network traffic is the App Store's, for the purchase. The lock screen shows the playing sound with its controls without any permission. Your settings, saved mixes and the Pro flag are kept in the app's own storage; nothing in the app excludes them from backup, so iOS may include them in your iCloud or computer backup, under your Apple account. The developer never receives it.
Languages
The app is available in English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Polish and Portuguese.
Children
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new date.
